NanoPipeline

A cross-modality tracker of how RNA and gene-editing medicines are delivered in active clinical trials, with a source for each trial.

397 active human trials of mRNA, saRNA, circRNA, siRNA, antisense, CRISPR, base and prime editing, and in-vivo CAR, sorted by modality, phase, sponsor and delivery system. Many registry entries never say how the drug is delivered; we filled that in from public sources, with a link for every filled row (91% of trials now have an identified delivery system), and tell you every month what changed.

How we compare

OptionWhat it coversHow NanoPipeline differs
Enterprise drug-intelligence databases (for example Beacon, Citeline, GlobalData)Broad, curated pipelines; some tag delivery systemsNarrower and self-serve: one sheet focused on delivery, with a public source link on every filled delivery label
CRISPR Medicine News trial databaseGene-editing trialsAlso covers mRNA, saRNA, circRNA, siRNA, antisense and in-vivo CAR in the same sheet
Free academic resources (for example CLIRNA, SCGE)RNA drugs or editing programs, with delivery fieldsBuilt from active ClinicalTrials.gov trials, refreshed monthly, with a published change log and a measured accuracy check

Method

Public registry data from ClinicalTrials.gov (U.S. National Library of Medicine), refreshed daily at the source, classified by keyword rules, then gaps filled from company disclosures. Every figure links to its source. Source: ClinicalTrials.gov (U.S. National Library of Medicine), API v2, data processed 2026-10-30. Modifications: active studies only; deduplicated across search terms; modality and delivery labels assigned by keyword rules and may be wrong; 215 delivery labels hand-filled from public company or publication sources (linked per row); observational studies excluded. Accuracy: in an independent check graded by a second reviewer against registry and company sources (Oct 27, 2026), 78.1% of 64 independently graded trials had both drug type and delivery right (95% interval 66.6-86.5%); 87.5% delivery, 89.1% modality. The errors found have been corrected. This is a single independent sample of 64 trials, not a full audit. Coverage: 17 search terms; 182 of 397 delivery labels come from registry keyword rules and were not hand-checked. Source terms: credited to ClinicalTrials.gov, data date shown, changes described; refreshed regularly. ClinicalTrials.gov is a U.S. Government database; NanoPipeline claims no rights in it.
